I'm back…really, I swear
OK, now www.eal.us really *is* back online.
I was grumbling that Earthlink must have started blocking ports or something. Turns out the problem was nothing of the sort. In actuality, I had bungled the Ethernet config and essentially left the server able to talk only to the local network.
BUT, I've moved the site to one of the servers at Atl-Connect so that it's well protected by a firewall, has a great Internet connection, and will be well cared for.
Fortunately, I went through the migration of Movable Type to use MySQL on the backend, so the transition to the new server was WAY easy.
