Today Show
Yesterday was Emily's birthday and we were in New York City, so we managed to roll out of bed at 4:00am (after only 3 hours of sleep!) and head over to be in the crowd at the Today show.
They take a shot panning the crowd from time to time, and one of them started out with a closeup of Emily! Unfortunately, that shot was cut from the broadcast in Atlanta, probably due to the timing of the local news. My Uncle tells me that he did see it on the New York broadcast, though, so hopefully we can get a copy of that one.
In another shot, Matt and Katie did a segment in the plaza, and we were all in the background; even when they moved in for a closer shot, you could still see me and Christopher just to the left of Matt.
We had a great time, but too little time to really explore the city. We'll have to go back.

I had forgot until this moring why I never watch the Today Show as I did years ago. It is the screaming mimis outside the studio. That kind of noisy, very unpleasant screaming grates on one's morning. You may love it, thinking you have Groupies; and you are welcome to it. I will again start avoiding NBC in the morning.
