Busy Day
Productive day today. Cleaned out the storage closet. Took a load of stuff to the dump. Cleaned out another corner of the garage. Put up two more sheets of drywall in the garage. Donna built a storage shelf for the garage and reorganized a bunch of stuff. I cleaned out Christopher's turtle's tank. Donna's done a bunch of loads of laundry. I prepared for the bible study class I'll teach tomorrow morning. And… And… And…
It felt good to take a shower and sit down for a few minutes. Now, a big breakfast-for-dinner, and then I can get some online stuff done, too.
I know I've been quiet lately. It's been quite busy, and I just haven't taken the time to write about everything that was going on, but I'll try to catch you up, and get back in the habit of commenting.
One big development is that Bud and I now have some office space (thanks to my friend Rich, who made us an offer we absolutely couldn't refuse), so we've got a “base of operations”. More on this later…

I assume that is Bud D. sharing your office. One of my favorite stories is when he had to “call me on the carpet” and tell me: “I have never gotten more phone calls over a single e-mail.” He was holding an e-mail in his hand that I had written to sales and operations explaining how we were going to switch from Mac to Windows. I forgot to clear it through proper channels. Been dodging proper I.T. channels ever since.
Yes, it is Bud D. I imagine he “called you on the carpet” in a nice way…even when he's really angry, he has a way of being cool, calm and collected! Bud and I are partners in the ISP, so we get to spend lots of quality time together.
