The Next Terrorist Attack

I'm pretty sure I've put all the pieces together, and I know what the next big terrorist attack is going to be.  As you might expect, the chain of evidence is fragile, but I'm almost certain that I know what's coming.  Unfortunately, I can't determine where it'll happen, but I've got some ideas.

Bear with me here, and I'll walk you through it.

First, think back to the September 11 terrorist attacks, and in particular the months following.  Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney (from our fine state of Georgia) was very vocal in her claims that the Bush administration knew the terrorist attacks were coming, but did nothing to prevent them.  Hmm.  So, Bush might be in with the terrorists.  OK, file that nugget away for a moment.  We'll come back to it.

Then, don't forget for a moment that we're concerned about the possibility of a biological attack from the terrorists.

Now, fast forward to last year, when the Centers for Disease Control (under the Bush Administration, mind you) was doling out contracts to produce the flu vaccine.  The production of this critical vaccine was entrusted to only TWO contractors.

Curiously, in October, the British government shut down production of the flu vaccine by one of the two companies, claiming that there may be some kind of impurity.  The British government, you may recall, is one of our staunchest allies in the War on Terror  (Could it be that Bush and Blair are BOTH in it with the terrorists??  But I digress.  Stick with me.)

OK, so now we've got the flu vaccine supply disrupted, and the Bush Administration launches a major publicity blitz to tell most able-bodied Americans to skip their flu shot this year, which leaves them at dramatically higher risk of getting the flu.  In a typical year, about 36,000 people die from the flu, and 114,000 per year are hospitalized for it (source).

FluI'm convinced that the terrorists have managed to aerosolize the flu virus, and now that their buddy George Bush has softened up the American underbelly, they're going to release their new aerosolized flu virus and cause many thousands of Americans to get the flu.

Preposterous, you say?  Consider this: Dick Cheney (who, by the way, is an integral part of the Bush Administration) got a flu shot!  I heard it from the John Kerry campaign, so I know it's true.  What reason would an older man with a heart condition have to get the flu vaccine, unless he's got some advance knowledge of an impending epidemic?!  He's in on the conspiracy.  You'll be sick and miserable in bed, and Dick Cheney's going to be playing a round of golf at the TPC in Sawgrass.

Wait a minute!  Stop the presses!  I've learned even more damning evidence:

  1. CNN reports that members of Congress have been urged to get a flu shot.  I wonder why they were urged to do so?  Probably because the Capitol physician is also in league with the terrorists and knows what's coming.  Do you suppose that he's got some foreknowledge that there will be an outbreak of flu in the next several months?  I think so.
  2. CBSNews.Com has a report that Bill Clinton has received a flu shot.  He probably has some knowledge of something about to happen because he was the President, and therefore has access to sensitive information.  I can't say for sure if he is also in league with the terrorists who will unleash this horrible attack, but it's certainly curious that President Clinton (who, like Cheney, is a heart patient…but that's not really relevant) took the step of getting a flu shot.

So, that's it.  It's my prediction that in the next few months, terrorists will strike by releasing a potent virus in the United States.  Hundreds of thousands of people will get sick.  And there's almost nothing we can do about it!  It's entirely possible, in fact, that we'll start seeing the first cases BEFORE THE ELECTION!  And I think we all know what impact that might have, as the understanding of the enemy begins to wend its way through the American subconscious.

Earlier, I commented that I didn't know for sure where it would strike, but I had some ideas.  I think that the Northeast is the most likely place, anywhere from the Washington, D.C. area all the way up to, say Chappaqua, New York.

You don't think I'm being paranoid…do you?
