Sitting in the Dark
Our office went dark this afternoon.
Turns out some yahoo in a dump truck was driving down the street with the dump bed raised, and when he went through an intersection near our office he got tangled up in the power and phone lines overhead. The result blew at least two transformers and left several blocks dark. Best we can tell, he disentangled himself, lowered the dump bed, and went on his merry way, leaving the rest of us to stew in the dark.
