Harry Potter 5 Rocks
Just went and saw the latest movie installment of the Harry Potter series — Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Excellent movie! This one is a worthy successor to the four that came before it.
If you saw #4 (and truly, if you’re planning on going to #5, the odds are pretty good that you saw #4 – Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban), then I recommend you rent it and watch it again before you go see #5…the story picks up where it left off and moves along pretty quickly, so it’s good to have the “state of affairs” fresh in your mind before you dive in.
I worry that Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint (Harry, Hermoine, and Ron, respectively) will be about 25 years old by the time they play 17–year-olds in #7 (the final installment), but hey, if it worked for The Karate Kid (Ralph Macchio was something like 22 or 23 when he played a teenager in this 1984 movie), I guess we can suspend disbelief for a moment and let it work for Harry, too.
Anyway, if you’re a Harry Potter fan, go see The Order of the Phoenix. It’s excellent.
