Incredible! My son's 2003 mini windows had stop working for sometime, since he's in college can't afford to take it in for service. Was home this weekend so I thought to google it to see if anything would pop up. Found your link, promptly went out to his car, followed the directions and got both working in less time it took to write this. Thanks fo rhte tip!

My brother and I still do @ fiveforks.com. But I agree that Facebook took away a lot of the interaction our family used to have on our family blogs. I disagree that Facebook has become a hub for our online wheel, though. It seems to be a casual hallway where we pass one another with brief watercooler observations. The spokes that are shared are funny videos, funny pictures, and sometimes serious things political or otherwise. My vehicles for discovery "hubs" include: My Yahoo, Google News, Google Reader (which is how I spotted your post here), Drudge Report, Instagram, and then with my iPad: Zite, Flipboard USA Today, and StumbleUpon. Too many hubs now that I think about it.

5 second fix, worked great! THANKS SO MUCH for posting this! I did it with the door open. I don't think I would describe this just an "intermittent" problem. I'm pretty sure it occurs when you don't let the window close completely and stop on it's own before releasing the button. As you probably know, the windows automatically move down slightly when you open the door and back up when you close it, to allow it to pass under the rubber weather stripping. I beleive it gets jammed sometimes when it is stopped just short of completely closed (or something like that.) That's just my guess... Anyway, Thanks again!

Sorry, Kishan. I have no way to know what might be causing your problem, although in my experience if the LAN port is not working, you probably need to find the right drivers. That can sometimes be a challenge, and it's completely dependent on your specific hardware. Best I can offer is to Google your specific hardware model number along with "centos" and see if somebody else has had a similar problem that they've solved and posted.

We went to Redbox ($1 rentals) in 2009 and largely infrequently used BlockBuster. Then we went to NetFlix in late 2010, and there will be no more BlockBuster. I tried BB on-line system. It was such a hassle, I won't even try that again. NetFlix just works. Plus we got a Wii for Christmas, and now we're watching NetFlix on our large screen TV via Wii. But mostly we just sit on a couch or bed together and watch on an Apple laptop. It's literally brought us closer!
